Topics for classroom discussion and assignments:

  • Draw new illustrations for a published story, based on your own imagination.

  • Write a short story and read it to the class — but in a unusual, possibly funny voice.  It’s okay to act-out and be very physical in telling the story. You can also do this with a published story or poem.

  • Write an essay describing the members of your family. It should include written and visual illustrations of each person.

  •  Robert Munsch believes that kids don’t really have power.  His “Kid Power” books are a fantasy relief for kids.  Write or tell a story in which a kid has special powers.

Teachers and librarians, submit your own topics:

If you're a teacher or librarian, you're invited to submit a topic for classroom discussion or an interesting assignment. If we add your submission to the list above, you'll receive a Professional Letter of Recognition from us along with a goodconversations.com gift.
